Often considered the ultimate educational attainment in the Scrum field, the Registered Agile Coach™ credential builds on prior education and training to take the learner to the next level – and bring their team and organization right along with them. This course is for candidates who have at least one year experience working in a Scrum environment, preferably as a Scrum Master or Team Coach, and familiarity with the Scrum@Scale framework. They also should hold a Scrum Master or Product Owner credential, preferably a Registered Scrum Master™ (RSM) or Registered Product Owner™ (RPO).
Course Objectives
The course is designed to give students a real-world practicum that will help them deliver immediate, visible business results to stakeholders and clients. Participants can expect to learn the fundamentals of common coaching styles, as well as how to avoid common coaching pitfalls. They will learn how to have productive conversations so that dysfunction decreases, productivity increases, and leaders can emerge within their team. They will also leave the course with a better grasp of how to effectively lead through change and measure their success.
Prerequisites
- At least one (1) year experience working in a Scrum environment, preferably as a Scrum Master or Team Coach, and familiarity with the Scrum@Scale framework
